another beer thread!
But a well-deserved one! The Hallowes is now having a quick refurb, and is being taken over by the Spire Brewery, so within a 25 minute walk, I will be able to get a decent pint. Rumour has it also that The Sidings might have a similar 'fete'. Lets hope that the revived hallowes will thrive.

Well, the Sidings has now had all the steel shuttering removed, and when it re-opens, it'll be called......The Dronfield. Both pubs may be serving superb ales within a few weeks.

Ok Admin, let's have an office party. How about getting the stewards of the two new venues to offer free beer to DF subscribers?

So, signs in the windows say August 5th for the grand reopening. I certainly plan on being there. Guess I will walk though!

Ok, see you there. Mine's a pint! My daughter's local in Nottingham serves third pints, three glasses of different ales, on a tray. Be a good way to try all 12! You walking or driving?

Good question hopefully wife driving lol I fancy the one with black pepper in it, I've heard a very strong rumour it will be open around 5 ish, but you didn't hear it from me

Nah, deffo 7pm, I called in at lunchtime, hoping to blag a tasting, guys there said not 5pm. Two hours longer to wait....

Oh ye of little faith I was actually inside when you called they have asured me just after 5 they will be ready to go lol
