Our Christmas Programme aims to offer something for everyone. Perhaps a visit to one of the famous Christmas markets, get all your Christmas shopping done in one hit, find that elusive special gift and enjoy mulled wine and roasted chestnuts! Alternatively, you can join one of our dining circulars or one of our special trains which mix scenery, specific traction to various destinations.

We pick up at your local station to make it easy to travel, pick ups vary for each charter.

From Shrewsbury to York St Nicolas Fayre, Durham and Newcastle.

· FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH – The Lincoln Christmas Executive

From Sheffield to the Lincoln Christmas Market.

· SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12TH – The Deltic Circular

From Barrow Hill and Sheffield via the Hope Valley, Buxton and Warrington.

· SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19TH – The Carlisle Executive Circular

From Barrow Hill to Carlisle via the S&C and the Tyne Valley.

· WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 30TH – The 20s Southern Circular

From Barrow Hill via the Midland Main Line to Greater London, Kent and Sussex.

Fares start from £54 in standard (children aged 10 and under £39), £79 in first (children aged 10 and under £59) and £135 in Premier Dining. Family bookings for 2 adults and up to 3 children or a group booking of 4 adults can take advantage of a 10% discount.

*Please note that Premier Dining is not available on the 12^th and 30^th December charters.

Standard class offers comfortable seating in bays of 4 and a convivial atmosphere. For the

Christmas programme, we’re pleased to offer you a complementary tea or coffee per person on us!

First class offers seating in tables of 2 or 4 in a quiet and relaxing environment. If you would like a private table for two in first or Premier Dining, an additional supplement of £10 per person is applicable. Tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis. A complimentary at seat coffee and tea service with biscuits is available on both the outward and return journey.

Premier Dining offering an at seat dining service in first class carriages. Why not indulge yourself for Christmas and let us tempt you with our dining experience? You will be served an English breakfast on the outward journey and a 3 or 4 course meal on the return journey. You choose your starter, main course, dessert and whether you want to participate with the cheeseboard (extra £4.95) or not. The decision is up to you!

We can also cater for any special dietary requirements you might have. Please let us know your choice for each course of the menu at the time of booking.
