The Dronfield Footpaths and Bridleways Society is a very active local group that helps keep our local footpaths open, clear and safe to walk. Organised walks, always led by experienced walkers are regularly held, and on the way, frequent stops to learn snippets of local interest. The next walk is on Sunday 24th March, staring at Carlisle Close, opposite Riverside Garden Centre at Sheepbridge. This walk will take you to Old Whittington, and even New Whittington, at an easy to moderate pace. Meet at 10am.

Tuesday 9th April, meet at Coal Aston Weslyan Reform Church, Cross Lane, Coal Aston at 09.30 for hot drinks and toast, before a local walk.

More details: look on the website, www.dronfieldfootpaths.org.uk

If you are new to the group, please introduce yourself to the walk's leader, anyone present will point you to the right person.
